In the historical centre of MONTEVARCHI you should see: collegiata (collegiate church) of S.Lorenzo and the parish museum, the paleontological museum placed in the fifteenth-century cloister of the S. Ludovico ex- convent. The Art Nouveau villas like Villa Masini where Roberto Benigni has shot some scenes of “La vita è bella” (Life is beautiful). And also, every Thursday morning there is the weekly market, while the second Saturday of the month there is the Mercatale were they sell local food farming. In the characteristic Via dei Musei every forth Sunday of the month there is an antique market; the antique fair of Valdarno takes place every second Sunday of the month in Piazza della Repubblica.
